 • Don’t forget the club meets at Riverwoods tomorrow at 7 a.m. The address is 35W624 Riverwoods Lane in St. Charles, off Route 25 north of town. Fox Valley Christian Action Executive Director Jay Curtis will update the club on the camp and FVCA’s other outreach programs.

• The Changing Children’s Worlds Foundation is raffling off a children’s playhouse, donated by John Hall Custom Homes. Tickets for the fundraiser are $20 each, and only 1,200 will be sold. The winning ticket will be drawn Sept. 19 at CCWF’s Jazz in the Pavilion fall fundraiser in Pottawatomie Park. CCWF offers counseling for families based on empathy-based guidelines for communications, interactions and relationships between parents and children. For more information, contact Kim Svevo-Cianci.

Wishing Farewell to wade and Betty

St. Charles Mayor Ray Rogina reads a proclamation (at right) honoring Wade and Betty Weisman, long-time Exchange stalwarts, who are moving to Virginia. The two also were honored at a farewell dinner earlier this month, and will be very much missed by their many friends in Exchange and the community at large. (Photo by Brian Henry)
